If it is the Porsche warranty, it can be transferred for $50

9 year/60k miles/$250 deductible -- $6,698

10 year/75k miles/$100 deductible -- $10,613
10 year/75k miles/$250 deductible -- $9,698

Given the cost of these machines and the cost of potential failure, doesn’t seem like a bad idea. One note is that the quoted time period is including your original warranty. I.e - 10 year (4 year factory + 6 year extended)
are these prices Powertrain or Platinum plan?

I think it's platinum. I'm not 100% sure but I vaguely remember him stating that it was platinum.

@911frostys could you share with me (PM is fine) contact? I'm also located in the Bay Area. Thanks in advance.

Do these extended warranties cover the axle lift system or rear steering components?

I am in the process of finalizing a 96mo, 60K Porsche platinum warranty for $4,750 on my 2017 Panamera 4S. Once I confirm and sign, I can share dealership details for those interested!

Dealer quoted me:
9 years/60k miles: $6,698
10 years/75k miles: $9,698

Just powertrain:
9 years/60k miles: $5,170
10 years/75k miles: $6,420

This is a Porsche factory warranty not third party

I think it’s fair. Is anyone getting better? He said they aren’t marked up as they are direct through Porsche

Dealer explained it varies by car. He said a GT2 RS and Turbo S are same class. A carrera S and GT3 same class. Etc

I feel like the $4750 for your Panamera 4S makes sense and is consistent with the $7k I was quoted on my gt3 given the gt3 drivetrain components are more expensive

Also curious. Can these warranties be added after the factory has expired?
