Chalk Touring with 12k miles. PCCB, FAL, leather with deviated stitching, and FAL. $180k MSRP. Asking price is $165k. If this thing is clean, I will be amazed if it is still available in 24 hours.

Based what I am hearing there will be production delays across many of their models so it may be longer than anticipated. There will also be a decent jump in MSRP so the .2s may not come down a whole lot any time soon

Much truth in this. Best case scenario people are getting 992 tourings in the US early 2022. I'm not interested in losing a year of driving just to take advantage of market bubble. Not blaming those who do, but I'm holding and enjoying.

Just stopped by to look at the GT silver touring in Portland. Nice condition consistent with the low mileage. Does have clear bra on the front bumper, and I believe the hood, mirrors. Also built in radar detector (escort). I did see minor marks in the paint above the passenger taillight but they could probably be buffed out. Other than dark wheels and lights this is pretty much my dream car - if only the price weren't insane I might be tempted. Hope she goes to a good home.

992 GT3 driving down the value of the 991.2
I know this is a popular argument, but what makes us think Porsche isn't going to grab some of this appreciation for themselves? Do you think ADM's are going down or up in this environment? I don't, Porsche and dealerships aren't stupid. Why a higher priced 992 GT3 would crater the value of a loved and rare 991.2 is beyond me.
Have they announced pricing?

I don't believe the 991.2 will crater. Certainly it could normally depreciate as cars do, but I think that is to be expected regardless of the price of the 992 and its ring time. I believe most 911 tend to hold strong because they consistently deliver the experience expected and in turn continue to benefit from brand loyalty.
