The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

Same experience here, had a 2015 R8-V8 gated manual and same exact feeling, looked beautiful, even with the manual should have been easy to fall in love with it but got bored with it and got rid of it... I couldn't wait to buy it and was attracted to it but after driving it for a few weeks, felt bland and something was missing... luckily didn't take a bath on resale but no longer into R8's of any generation, look super sexy on outside, everything logically says it should be awesome, in the end too perfect, NO SOUL....

I had a 2017 R8 prior to the GT3. Great car but as you alluded to something was missing. When my son asked why I was getting rid of the R8 for the GT3 I replied, "The R8 is like James Bond but the GT3 is like John Wick - they both get the job done but in very different ways". When we went for a spin he got it.

I’ve been considering a gt3/touring or turbo (some DD usage) and I happened to see a Signal Yellow GT3 the other day. I haven’t stopped thinking about it, something I am yet to do with a turbo. I was not a yellow guy, but that’s since changed. Now, if I could just stumble across a pts signal yellow gt3.
