I went back and forth with them on that car. Sat on my hands too long and when I emailed my salesman he said it was gone. Not sure why they still have it up.
Seems well bought given other recent transactions, and I'm partial to green.
But I'm especially partial to yellow!
Unfortunately no. I did go see the car and made an offer. We couldn’t come to terms and I decided that rather than pay the premium that was being asked, I’ll just wait for the 992 and spec it myself. If there was one flaw in the car, it didn’t have deviated stitching. I’m nitpicking but it’s all I have after not being able to close the deal on this.
This is the must frustrating buying process ever. My SA is trying to help me buy a car through them (I’ve got trade equity sitting there plus tax savings for in-state purchase), but I just keep striking out. We’ve reached out on roughly a half dozen GT3s or RSs an everything is either sold or they refuse to sell to us.
It's funny that so many here seem to be lamenting the lack of manual GT3s, where I've been searching for a PDK GT3 and the vast majority of cars I come across that would otherwise be a perfect match are "ruined" by being manual.
Also, I'm curious how some of you are finding these cars for sale at random dealers. I've been checking Autotrader, CarGurus, PCarMarket, etc. but how do you all find these cars that are for sale at non-Porsche dealerships that are otherwise not listed on any of the major marketplace sites?
