The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
#8086
Always good to see the car in person as I learned when I bought my Riviera Blue PTS RS--it was totally washed out in the preliminary pictures I had recieved due to very bright indoor lighting. Even my own pictures of the car look very different depending on where it was when I took the pic. It can range from Miami to Mexico to Voodoo with the lighting. Riviera falls somewhere between Mexico and Voodoo in my eye anyway. But I love the whole range of Porsche blues!!
me too! I think for me it goes Mexico, Voodoo, Shark, Riviera, Miami. But there are others I have not seen in person that might totally change that order.
I would be happy with any in that color range. I need Sofas and a manual also.

One of the very very few 911R’s I’ve seen with a roll bar.

100% agree, I had previously owned 2019 RS and put 17k miles in one year and regrettably sold. Only reason I had interest was I like the idea of buying a” new old stock” in theory, although dealer has avoided how they acquired, which I see as potential auction acquisition which is happening more and more, even with such low mileage.

Assuming this is directed to me ... thanks!
Yes, dealer replaced all the pads with OEM pads and the brakes are good now. Measured the CCB rotors with the Carboteq instrument (took rear rotors off the car to avoid electromagnetic interference) and they show about 20% wear, which is fine. Alignment was at factory specs. Sway bars were set at front stiff and rear soft, and putting them at mid-mid restored the balance of the car so that it turns in well and holds. I think the car had well under 10 track days on it.

To finish the story, I did buy this 2019 GT3 RS and it's FANTASTIC! 13k miles, CPO, likely less than 10 track days, full PPF, looks pretty much new, roll bar and Schroth harnesses, MSRP of $225k, paid $240k plus $2,500 for an extra year of CPO. The car is worth every penny.
Also, for years I've been saying that 911 GT cars are made for the track, not really suited to being fun road cars. Well, I was wrong. This RS is fun to drive at all speeds on the road, with all the upsides of feeling like a cup car with not much of the downsides (ride is a bit harsh on bad roads, but same with other Porsches, this RS isn't a lot worse). This RS is a MUCH better car than the 991.1 GT3 I traded in.

Good Lord Manifold, she is absolutely stunning!!!! Congratulations. I never even saw this one posted for sale. You had the inside line on this 👍🏻. I can't wait to hear about all the fun you're having with it. Enjoy.

They would owe you a lot more than goodwill for selling that thing with sofas even close to that price
