Preaching to the choir.

Wear and tear in seat bolsters, scuff marks in the door that are very deep, doors rattle as you close them, speakers that buzz when you play music, the head unit (screen) that rattles and buzzes at various RPMs very loudly, etc. Its clear someone used it without any care. Yet from outside car has PPF on every panel, wheels have no scratches, no chips or other physical damage. From pictures it looks immaculate.
Okay.. so your point is some people used and abused their car and buyer beware. I disagree that a 997 GT3 is going to hold up any better than a 991 under similar usage. I bought mine with 9k miles and it is rock solid.

Bonkers BAT made the reserve higher than that. I was surprised it broke 200, figured 195 would win it

Seems to be the new price average which isn’t bad considering it was bid to a little over 42k above MSRP( including the 5%). Some prefer the Touring, some don’t. To each his own.

scrolling through recent GT car auctions on BAT, more have gone RNM than hit the ask. you'd think they'd be incented to price realistically to pick up their pound of flesh but oh well

Unless someone really likes that color, those prices are 6 months old! The dealer who bought my 991.1 GT3 has now sat on it for more than a month and dropped the asking price to with in $10k of what they paid me.

That color is amazing!

But yeah the 42k over w/ 9k miles was as high as that guy will ever see for that car for a very very long time. No way he gets more than from someone else that and it's only dropping everyday

i think BAT is starting to throttle the number of GT3 listing they are running at the same time. It seemed like they were running multiple similar cars at the same time up until a month ago or so, but now not so much. If that's the case, the market is moving down fairly quickly, and they may have negotiated reserves that are now stale. I am also guessing they have a large number of cars in the cue, waiting to be listed. we shall see - i may be wrong.

for sure, i blanked out the price when looking at the ad and it was just pure bliss. it even got me considering a non-winged car... then i saw the price again and closed the tab lol
