Imagine you're happy where it's already at. Someone could have bought it from you without Pcar and paid the same all-in price at your full asking. Good luck!

I think in an ideal world the build up would be a little more granular, but I guess it’s like golf, doesn’t matter how pretty your shots were to get to the green as long as it goes in the hole.

But yes I suspect we are within FB territory.

As this MB car continues its for sale tour across the country it's now made it to my neck of the woods. I guess If you wait long enough you won't need to pay for shipping as dealers will just keep buying from each other and shuffling inventory. Of coarse it's now 5k more expensive than it was at the previous dealership 50 miles away, and 15K more than it was in Chicago.

Going 991.2 gt3 pre owned searching..

stick to only Cpo Porsche dealers or could I still consider 3rd party exotic dealers? Gt3 with under 9k miles preferably and usually I like to think the owners of most gt3s baby their cars and get rid at low mileage bc the cars sits.

someone fill me in if I’m wrong

what should I look for as red or green flags when dealing w dealership and this type of car. Never owned a gt3 or high performance car like that.

thanks

Wanted to point this Graphite Blue PDK out. This is the one that has been sitting and not selling in Florida since thanksgiving. Looks like another dealer bought it and decided to raise the price from $173k to $199k. Called about it when it was down in florida but the dealer wouldn't return my calls.

Pretty par for the course that dealers are cannibalizing other dealers and inflating prices.

so the move here would be to convert this car into a NFT so that they won’t even need to ship it all around the country

In the GT3 world, I wonder what percentage of cars are driven and what percentage sit around as pieces of art.

That's the one that was at Naples Acura or something, right? Sat forever, price went up and down and back up again. Only FU and dumb money in this market now.

Good question. It's been posed before in the forum and discussed. Although I am not sure a poll was done. First, I think 'driven' has to be defined. Is that mileage, frequency, other? Many (vague, I know) here have multiple cars so putting a lot of miles on all cars may not be possible. As an example if someone drove 15,000 miles a year equally on three cars, blah...blah..blah. I would venture that those in more urban environments don't even come close to 15.000 miles a year total.

And, there are those who just don't drive them even if they don't have multiple cars. It's more an occasion car. All the reasons and justifications for why or why not are of no concern to me.

I enjoy the art of driving and will do so whenever I can. My 2019 GT3 RS has 21,500 and they have all been fun and glorious miles. Who doesn't want to experience all the car has to offer?

yuuuuup. That's the one. If you can't sell it in one spot just jack the price up a ton and ship it halfway across the country.

Here's another great example of that same principle. Remember the thread where the guy was trying to decide between two gt3's? One was black i think and the other was chalk and was at auto exotica in NJ? The chalk one didn't get sold and got dumped at auction. It's baaaaaaaack but all the way on the west coast and with a $21k higher price tag for the same car.

Link to chalk gt3 for $205k ($21k increase from sale price)

I am in the market for one, and I saw that Naples one kept popping up on my radar. Initially thought they labeled the car the wrong color and perhaps that's the reason it sat unsold for so long. Kept thinking there's something wrong with the car but Carfax seems to check out. Then lo and behold it ended up in Chicago for more than $20K over. Still think there's something wrong unless the color is not that popular.

I am unfortunately getting ready to list my 2018 GT3, manual, 19k miles. Due to a shoulder injury, I am not able to shift without pain. I bought the car 1 year ago from a well known rennlist member. Fantastic car which I have personalized with a back half wrap, JCR silenced racepipe exhaust, etc. I only have 3 of the silver OEM wheels as a front wheel was found to have a bend (prior to me getting it) and couldn't be fixed. Was thinking about listing for 185k, not sure. I would prefer not to go the auction route. Any thoughts?

Can y’all help me out here. I am seriously considering selling my 991.1 GT3 after getting the 992. My initial plan was to keep them both and use the 991 as a track car and occasionally track the 992. After getting the 992, I am just in love with it and don’t have much desire to drive/track the 991 anymore.

The 991 has 14k miles, is white, was certified when I bought it, has an exhaust (and some missing pieces of an exhaust), front half is wrapped, whole thing is ceramic, garage kept and professionally maintained and is in great shape. I look on autotrader and they are ranging from 140-180k depending on the mileage. The dealer is offering 128k. The autotrader numbers seem a little crazy.

So, that brings me to my question, what is a fair number for this car in this crazy market?
