Great deal but something seems off. Good luck to anyone going after it. Exact spec I want but dealers website doesn't work and google is showing me the same photos from 2015.
There could certainly be some of that as well, but a similar GT3 in black went for $32,500 more just the day before this one closed. Granted the black one only had 56 miles on it compared to this one's 2,700, but that's still a pretty big spread just over a few thousand miles.
Simple answer is the red GT3 was a PDK. The others listed around the same time, including the 56-mile car, were manual. Prices certainly different between PDK and manuals.
Rhodium Silver Touring with 8k miles on Pcarmarket. Canadian spec car, PCCB, buckets, FAL, LED’s, and full leather. Rhodium Silver is one of the rarest colors for a Touring with only 4 being made for North America.
Lizard Green .2 RS with basically delivery miles on BAT. WP with painted front lid, PCCB, FAL, LED’s, and full leather with Lizard Green stitching and accents. $236k original MSRP.
Chalk .2 RS with 7100 miles on BAT. WP, magnesium wheels, PCCB, FAL, LED’s, and full leather. $256k original MSRP. Pretty sure I have talked to the current owner of this car a year ago while getting the tires on my C2S changed. Seen it driving around a few times and it looked like a beautiful example.

Manuals are bringing slightly more, roughly 5% give or take, but its not significant. If you search on CarGurus and Autotrader there are roughly 25%-40% more manuals than PDKs right now. Yes there are those that love the manual, but it appears there are more on the market than PDK pointing to less desirability for most buyers.
I think it's noteworthy that PCAR is running two 991.2 PTS/PDK auctions simultaneously. They must have quite a backlog of sellers. I'd be ticked if either of those were my car. Can't help the seller to have fairly direct competition.

PCAR doesn't seem to have the same standards and level of execution vs BAT
Im having a hard time believing this car is actually real and for sale. It was listed here in 2019 with gold wheels.
We all need to report the ad as fake so it gets taken down. The Russians do this "Dealer takeover" scam all the time where they find a place that went out of business but had Yelp and Google reviews, and they simply use the name and place a bunch of ads. I called a place on a 997 turbo and saw it was a scam and contacted Autotrader and placed reviews warning others. This Russian douche called me and threatened my life.
