Graham Rahal asked $235K for this car last week. I am curious what P OKC will ask now. I just happened to recently have bought a very similar 16 3RS in Voodoo Blue through P OKC, buying from a very nice previous owner and having the transaction go through P OKC who also re-certified the car. It seems they see a lot of upside still on this one.

I'll take the mystery out of that one for you - I spoke to them about this car and they are asking $230k without CPO. For CPO, they have to assess the car (it's still being transported to them) before quoting CPO price - and I am not sure that they can even CPO a car that has an aftermarket cage in it?

The same dealership has a CPO 991.2 GT3 RS with WP for $229k. For the life of me cannot understand why I wouldn't just buy that car instead, even if it has ~6000 more miles on it.

Is this your car? Good price for PTS manual.

I have some answers - CPO will cost about $4k + service charge needed to bring the car up to CPO standards, and yes, they can CPO a car with an aftermarket cage because they just did exactly that for me. It was $4.3k for CPO (I paid) + $3k service charge (paid by previous owner). And the reason why someone would buy this over the .2 3RS WP is because like me, someone wants a RS in PTS color or specifically PTS voodoo color, and you can't get PTS on the .2 3RS afaik.

I believe I read here that the Touring version may be a bit louder in the cabin than the winged GT3. Anyone have direct experience with this?

Yes, it is noticeably louder. The 991.2 Touring has less interior sound insulation than the winged GT3.

Why would the touring have less sound insulation? Is that not counter intuitive, why would Porsche do that?

I feel like AP would roll his eyes at this comment lol

Only with a PDK as in CARB testing the manual was too loud to pass.

Why, because you don’t know what you don’t know.

AP would roll his eyes at your uninformed comment
