Thanks RapidGT.....you have no idea how many conversations I have had over the “meaningless” Buildsheet PPF. It took a lot of investigative work on my dealers part to get the skinny on this.
I also appreciate the kind words on the car. Even thought it’s a loaded build, it is very tastefully done. Very well thought out IMO.

Yeah I'm still subscribing to this thread but for the price they're going for now I think I'll go ahead and use that 992 GT3 allocation coming my way.

Apologies if this was already posted but I didn't see it mentioned:
- 2016, 3RS, seems liek a desirable spec (LWB, white, axle lift, etc), 1k miles, 4 owners. 228k?! For a 991.1 3RS?
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=299691780
- Honestly, unless I'm misunderstanding the value of low mileage examples, this is absurd. I'm in the boat where 150k is a somewhat realistic yet financially straining decision to make right now and was within spitting distance of .1 3RS a year ago... My hope was that I could get a nice 991.1 GT3RS for maybe close to upper 140's once 992 gt3 came around but... it's looking like ill miss out on getting one of these completely with this market. Happy for those folks who got some appreciating assets right now, but I'm really hoping this'll tank soon so i can afford one lol

Car dealer friend of mine said now is a great time to sell because there isn’t much inventory due to lack of production of ALL cars. Boat market is similar(plus everyone wants to social distance in a boat) and there is a resin shortage across the country due to the deep freeze that occurred. Boston Whaler shut down for awhile,

I bought my car for high 150s three months ago and highly considering putting it up for high 180s just to see if it will sell. This bubble has to pop sometime and if prices bound back to what they were a few months ago I could just get a 991.2

I agree that it’s crazy but every time I say that about a car even one we own (993/997gt3/m3) they just keeps going up...ill never forget selling 997.1 gt3 for 75k and thinking what a sucker to buy that and now it’s worth like 110k, I remember 993 turbos creeping past 70k and thinking sheer delusion lol I agree with you guys but I’m just wrong so many times about these markets
I do agree 991.1 gt3 are great buys in the scheme of things
here’s the cheapest clean 991.2 gt3rs, seems like good buy:
