Gt3 or Carrera T as a daily driver

Frankly it’s T owners that are trying to talk a base up to something that it’s not. Shame really, because it just leads to false expectations and disappointment. It’s a good 911 if you accept it for what it is. 😀
It a base with SPASM and the diff from an S - everything else is smoke, mirrors and marketing.

I’ve driven a 911T, have a .2 GT3, and had a GT4. I’d much rather have a GT4 as a daily than a 911T. Far more engaging to drive in every way. The dual trunks are actually far more useful for daily use than any 911 as well. Less money than a 911T and probably better resale over time. Downside is 2 seats, less ground clearance and a little more firm than the T ( but less so than a GT3).

OP I would go and drive a few different 991.2 specs in base, T, S and GTS - you'll work out what you like from there. IMV the absolute pick for a daily is the GTS with SPASM and RAS - personally if you want a truly flexible daily plus 4 seats and access to the back thats the way to go plus it has plenty of go and then some. The LWB (fixed back) are hopeless in a daily as meaningful access to the rear is effectively killed. Definitely test drive before you buy . The reason I say this I have two friends both of whom came from 997 GT3s to Ts, one lasted six months and the other about a year - one went to a GTS the other to a .2 GT3.
Test drive, test drive thats the only way you'll find the right answer for you

Touring would be great. Just didnt want to get into that price range cause at 160k+ I have to start looking at a lot of other options. But yes, Touring is an amazing car.

Thats what I keep seeing as well. Lots of love for the T. I like the buckets. I like the fact its somewhat limited. I like the fact that actual owners enjoy the car. The GT3 is in a class of its own. NA has some appeal but not much as Ive scratched that itch plenty in the past. I like the Touring over the wing and honestly I should spend some time looking at some Tourings before I make the final decision.
