Do you have a real job?

Started installing stereo systems after high school for $4.50hr in 1991. Worked my way up to running a company. In 2005 I bought the company and then almost went bankrupt in 2011 due to the financial crisis. Survived that, thank the Lord and we have been a profitable company since 2013. This allowed me to purchase my dream car, a GT3 Touring. I feel so blessed to be able to experience this car. 13,000 miles so far and I pray for many more! 9 months ago I started another company with a top Porsche mechanic. Www.elitemotorcarsbend.com. I now have my own in house mechanic!!

Between my son and I (he’s an IT programmer/analyst also) we’ve owned a 924, Boxster (2), Cayman and a C4S, all in the past 3 years!
If your goal is GT4 or GT3, I suggest getting a used Boxster or Cayman and drive it daily (I drive the C4S daily). That, along with RL, will familiarize you with the ins and outs of Porsches. Some friends I ride motorcycles with, also own Porsches. Group has a 993, 996.1, 996.2 and a 991.2. All are great fun.
Now I must leave to rip up the B roads ‘round here on my way to join those guys for breakfast.
Cheers,

Grew up poor in a family of seven. Attended one of the worst public school systems in Massachusetts where more of my classmates went to prison than college. First job was with the Youth Corps at age 15 making $1.65 an hour. Worked two jobs to pay for college. Went into engineering and hated it. Left for grad school and majored in Finance. Found my way into hedge funds and haven't looked back. Now my foundation pays for scholarships for other disadvantaged kids from my old neighborhood.

Haha.....this explains why I see food postings for about 3-4 meals a day in-between cycling and driving. Enjoy!

It still boggles my mind why people that buy expensive toys worry about depreciation.....They don't think of how much they're going to enjoy the car but what's it gonna be worth after x amount of years and miles....

Your avatar pic looks so nice. Was in Duluth / Buford last year to scope out. My wife, mother and I would love to move there in the next 10 years when I have kids and before they attend middle school. Michigan is so flat / winter is boring.

Hey thanks. I'm into infrastructure software management (home office or traveling) and we moved to Buford 20 years ago where there tons of farms and wide open spaces. Now it's filled with WalMarts and Chili's and we'll probably be moving into the foothills of the Appalachians in North GA or NC when I get a little closer to retirement.
