On the Configurator for RS first thing is shows is "emissions and consumption values for the car are not yet known" Might have something to do with P Filters. Just a guess since I had never seen this before.

HP , torque , performance specs are set ( i.e. written representations ) and Porsche would be ill advised to change them after sales have begun.

Emissions results and EPA numbers are what has yet to be published. I suspect this is a hangover from our friends at VW and the new more thorough emissions testing.

According to this link, M4 performance is not expected to be impacted by the emission tweaks. I expect the US will get the same spec for the full run otherwise they would have to certify two configurations for the US. Doesn't seem practical for such small volume.

Does anyone have an allocation without a build date currently or should all the build dates be known?

Default Gt3 rs

Hi everyone
I got the allocation for a 2019 gt3 rs and I am getting at sticker with no ADM. I am in the Midwest and my dealer and I have a good relationship. I had bought a 2015 cayman gts and had put an advance for a gt3 and that was last year and they couldn’t get me an allocation but we’re able to get me an allocation for RS. It is an October build.
that was the best news I got on snowy weekend.
i go next to build the car and then wait.

I think you are right. Now my dilemma is should I keep the cayman gts as I love the car and it’s low miles. It’s paid for and I still think it would be the one I drive more.or should I trade it whe I get the gt3 rs.

Getting it is certain no issues there I am actually going to build it next week. The issue I have a that I have low mileage 15 cayman gts should I keep it or not. Love the car so kind of attached to it.

Keep unless u need to sell it. They just are completely different cars.

agree. I love my 991.1 RS, but it’s not an everyday driver or run to the store type of car like a Cayman. Different beast all together.

My advice, trade in the Cayman GTS now and get a new 18 Boxster GTS while you wait for the RS. Then keep both. Completely different cars and with the Boxster, you can put the top down! Having driven both the 15' Cayman GTS and now the 18' Boxster GTS, the differences in torque, overall power, and engine noises are better in every way.
