Default Build Slot
I just received my build slot from my dealer today. I have been assigned an August build with delivery scheduled for September. I am wondering if my car will get the new particulate filter or will it just squeak by that new European requirement.

Does Porsche build cars in August? Maybe towards the end of the month?

Was given my delivery date today for Nov 23rd. (US car)

Default particulate filter-HP degradation
Yikes...my Reinemachefrau has indicated that there will be a 21 HP decrease in HP on .2RS ROW units as a result of the installation of the "PF"....

Can anyone confirm??

Do the particle filters replace the existing catalyst .............? very little info about this in Australia on the Porsche web page ...

One would think Porsche would relay this information of decreased power to those of us with allocations. Considering we are submitting build specs from their configurator online now...

Come on guys. This is just more conjecture. Porsche would have to disclose that decrease, Otherwise their claims of 520 hp would be unfounded. This "cleaning lady" seems a bit misinformed.

21 HP ?
That would put the RS at 499 HP and the GT3 at 500

Saw the lizard at the NY auto show tonght

reaffirmed that I hate black hoods

while lizard is most def a cool color I like gelbgrun a lot better. But lizard is a better name lol

it just feels like the .2 is trying too hard and over styled to my eyes

What were the differences between Gelbgrun and Lizard from your observations that made you like it better?

Lizard is more yellow than gelbgrun which is more green

gelbgrun needs a cool name like raptor or something

The .2 is way over styled in my eyes. Just too darn busy but I always preferred the styling of the GT3 over the RS any ways so I am a little bias.

But- You can delete the livery and the WP and it will not look that busy but the LG with the Black hood and the livery was burning my eyes

Like over-the-top on RS but not the WP 2-tone look. Didn't like it on 997 2rs (even though i owned it) or the 991 2rs/ 991.2 3rs.

Do you maybe mean the .2 with WP is over styled? I don't think the .2 without it looks drastically different than the .1 except for some extra venting which to my eyes looks amazing.
*warning I am biased since I have one incoming.
