They are already retooling for 992 and this is high priority not some small run GT car. Also they have literally run out of the Mag wheels and its questionable if any (or less than 5% of all RS's) will get the Mag wheel. 2Rs production which is on same line took (is taking) longer than thought and uses many of the same components. And there is coming new Euro emissions (particulate). Porsche planned the .2 long ago but didn't really plan 3 GT cars hitting at the same time (GT3, RS, and 2RS). Only time will tell but it will be very limited.

Well stated. I can only attribute that statement being the dealer's own marketing strategy, to start driving the ADM north of the hemisphere.

Numbers have been discussed ad nauseum. The car will be built along side the 992. PAG has built 5 GT (3, 3rs, R, 4 and spyder) cars at the same time (if you consider the spyder a GT car). If previous behavior is an indicator for the future I suspect at the very least that bonus allocations will arrive later this year and/or early next year.

Wish people could be less spiteful on this forum. Anyway, for the first batch of cars without particulate filter, his dealer is pretty much spot on...and I assume that is what he meant. For the 2nd batch, the numbers will be higher. And most of you are receiving allocations from the 2nd batch.
