Just got the good news on an allocation this PM. Commission # C49--- , lock date 7/7/18, delivery in Sarasota 10/26.
One condition of the deal, cannot track the '18 GT Silver GT3 anymore and trade it in. Just cancelled CHIN at Sebring for this weekend and all plans for summer track dates.
Going with black and need to pick between the aurum or satin aluminum wheels. Any thoughts?

WP is less of a delay the big delay is if you want magnesium wheels. There is lot of demand less supply.
Mag wheels aren't available in the US on the GT3RS until next year and as far as I know you have to have Weissach Pack to order them next year so not an option for us right now

Order in system. Fully loaded incl WP. Black with satin **** wheels (these are introduced with .2 RS and thus a natural choice for me) and yellow calibers.... June production. July/August pick-up at the Zuffenhausen production facilities. What an epic road-trip that will be - and my first brand new Porsche. My Cayman, 991s and 991.1 GT3 had all been kissed once before.... but not this baby ;-)

my vote is for pic 2 with the wider blue band at lower side. Something about it looks very clean.
