We get it, lizard green is objectively the best color offered on any car of any manufacturer. Curious, what color matches the personality of someone who defends their color choice to an annoying, nauseating degree? Why not remind us how you paid an ADM on an RS, everyone pays an ADM on RS, your RS will avoid all pretend tariffs, how your RS will make 526 HP, how your RS will be the catalyst of limiting future RS production, and finally, the RL staple, how much will your RS appreciate.
You remind me of many other posters who repeat the same stuff over and over again:
"pictures don't do it justice"
"hard(est) color to capture"
"in this light it appears it is the color of the Gods"
"color acts like a chameleon"
Wait, color changes based on lighting conditions?

Come on guys no need to flame Porsche2018. He's excited about his car as we all are. His posted are usually informative.
My car had a completion date of July 18th yet the Porsche system is not showing any updates. My concern is it's being held back because the boat to the West coast doesn't leave Emden until August 10th. Boats headed for the East coast and Texas are leaving Emden earlier thus the need to complete them sooner. All speculation on my part but its odd to me that nothing is showing in the system regarding the status of my car.

My car completed on July 13 and is scheduled to get on a boat and leave Emden on August 3. So, perhaps your car may get on the earlier boat with my car or my car may get on the later boat with your car.
Nothing to worry about. I vaguely remember you being very worried last year as you wanted to be the first person on the West Coast to get a 991.2 GT3 (which didn't end up happening)... Chill, just a few days won't hurt anyone.
As for the flaming, I agree with the sentiments of the others.

Sounds like we have similar timing again like last year.

MY car is scheduled to enter Emden port on July 20th. Yet, Porsche shows it exiting Emden on August 10th. I wonder why it's missing the August 3th boat? But you're right its only a couple of weeks. FWIW, for me the fun of car buying is specing it, watching it be born, built and delivered.

are ya'll just calling the 1-800 porsche number to get updates or are you going through your SA's?

Apparently in a race to get cars out, Porsche's monitoring system is messed up. My car was scheduled to go into the body shop on July 13th but now I am being told it went in on the 16th. Yet they show a completion date of the 18th. No way the car is built in two days. I guess I need to just wait until the end of the week and determine its status then.

Interesting several of our cars went V260 on the 16th. These cars should not take more than one work day even with a few Manufaktur options. I will get a tracking sheet on Friday and post. I did check on the VIN# yesterday, and the SA stated not available yet; more to follow.
