Correction, time to build a 911 about 30 hrs. Interesting link condenses the process to 120 seconds.

‘thanks Andy! Honestly, spending all that time with you/your .2, definitely pushed me to want the new one much more than before. The that tech talk after Friday’s dinner hearing about the new engines!

I called PNA to get the status of my car. They show it entering production on July 11th and getting a vin number. BUT GET THIS...they are showing my completion date on September 13th almost two months after entering production!
I don't have any CXX items or special request. The factory doesn't close until August 6th. Either their records are all wrong or there are issues at the factory. I send my dealer a message trying to get an update from his system.

Latest bulletin from PCNA:
"Due to a supply shortage, the 911 GT3 RS order(s) listed below will be produced with a painted hood and not the visible carbon fiber hood which is included with the Weissach Package (option 808). This is being done to prevent any delays in the delivery of the vehicle. A replacement visible carbon fiber front hood will be sent to your dealership through warranty in mid-November. The painted hood can be kept by the customer free of charge after receipt of the front hood in visible carbon fiber."
Looks like some of us will be getting a free hood

So running list of supplier issues:
-Mg wheels
-CF steering wheel trim
-CF paddles
-CF hood
-Other
Mailing a warranty hood... wtf, seriously... lol
Whoever runs their procurement / vendor management function should be taken out behind the wurst shed and beaten with a brat.
