On the 20th of July I go V260 to V300; conception to birth........hopefully arriving at the dealership before any potential tariffs raise their ugly head(s). Early pronouncements/comments by President Trump on the NATO summit sound encouraging. Anyone think the likelihood of tariffs is more or less likely to occur?

The only good news any tariffs he imposes usually has a 2 to 3 month delay before implementing. Our cars should be on shore by then.

My WP car finished production yesterday (V300 1 day ahead of schedule) and is in-transit to Emden. Fingers crossed she ends up on a fast boat!

it all depends on how many trade wars he wants to have.. it is reported today that the trade talks with China have collapsed. China for now seems to be unwilling to give in. Does he want to take on the EU at the same time? Hopefully not but with Trump who knows.

NO all I have is the print document given to me by my SA. It shows entering the port of Emden on the 20th and exiting the port on August 10th. Do you have the shipping schedule for Emden? I am surprised the car will sit for three weeks before boarded on a boat.

I also have a tracking sheet with the planned/projected dates but having just gone through this process in August of 2017 here are some observations. The initial tracking sheets for the 718 stated 3 week delay at Emden but was on the ship the day after it arrived in Emden (27 July). So I was promised arrival of the 718* at the dealership on the 15th of September but instead it arrived on the 18th of August. Hopefully, this time around since my 3RS will be completed on the 20th of July it should arrive at the dealership, all things being equal, on or before the date the 718 was (18 August).

This car sounds like it has an aftermarket exhaust. It doesn't sound Porsche like at all.
