I specced my 3RS with PCCBs and want to know if cleaning the rims with Meguiar's D14001 wheel brightener would be contraindicated. It's an acid based wheel brightener intended to be used to clean the rims but some will get on the rotors and brake calipers.
Meguilars has a telephone service manned by technicians who would be able to answer your question.

Yes they did......Meguair's Wheel Brightener is a big NO.....as advised by one member on this forum, and several websites good old soap and water should do the trick.
Those that already own the previous generations of 3RSs can this be a long term ownership (high mileage vehicle) or sell before the warranty has expired. I generally like to hold on to vehicles for many years but not looking for a money pit either.

Your not tracking the car, you will just be going street light to street light. RS will last a long time driving like a poser.
Very true. I refrain from using any "chemicals" as it will make the bolt or painted materials to fade over time based on experience on older cars I had. I simply use detergent or dishwashing soap, applied with soft nylon brush, and a healthy use or dose of power washer and results are really good with no abrasion or fading on the metals.

Thank you my friend for the advice given this is my foray into the PCCB/super car realm.
Are most of you guys keeping your .2 gt3 when your rs comes in or selling the gt3 ? I plan on keeping my gt3 due to it being a manual and think it will be a perfect combination.
I’m selling mine. I don’t need to trade it in (wasn’t part of the deal)but will if the deal is fair. Would have kept it if it was a touring manual but my GT3 is a winged pdk.
Today I received quite a good news!
Porsche proposed to schedule Leipzig delivery for July the 4th instead of late august. Can't wait!
Lucky. I also was originally told late august for my gt3 and decided to just pass on ED since it didn't match with my schedule or my wife's. I would have loved to received a moved up July ED. Enjoy the trip.
