Here's a comparison of my Birch GT3RS and a paint sample card sprayed by a local body shop from the published paint formula for Lizard:

Wow, that’s quite a difference. LG has a deeper green hue.

I agree. LG is less yellow than Birch. But, ... still attractive.

I spoke to the Porsche sales manager a few weeks ago and he said the tariffs are not likely to pricing cars this year since the pricing had already been set. Though, not sure if that is accurate or not. Apparently, these recent threatened auto import tariffs are a retaliation against tariffs imposed by the EU that went into effect today which was a response to the Steel and Aluminum tariffs we imposed a few months back. If I read the reports correctly he could impose the tariff as soon as the 1st week in July.
For those waiting on a delivery what would each of you do if there is a +/- 20% price increase? For me that could be as much as a 50K price increase.......

That would be a tough one to swallow. It is not going to happen but hypothetically, if it did, one would have to look at it as an ADM you will probably never recover.

If this goes through the dealers are going to be pissed because I'm sure the ADM they are charging might go away quickly and go towards tariff taxes....

If we’re going to be paying 20% as the Market is now, we might as well pay some roads with the money and get rid of flippers.
Maybe it’s just what we need.

but back OT; anyone has a late 2019 RS coming or are those allocations not out yet?

I gotta say even with a 20% bump I still don't know what else I would buy at that price point....sucks but seriously what else is out there at this PP? I'll pay the premium I just wish it would have hit when the GT2RS was coming out!

I have just put 100miles on my 3RS and I have to say WHAT A CAR! Tremendous value at sticker!

I was expecting to be disappointed coming out of the GT2 but I wasn’t at all. On twisty roads it is a dream! Might even prefer it to 2RS for street driving (verdict still out).

proper write up coming soon.

Hope your right, though President Trump, was able to rather quickly impose tariffs on Aluminum and Steel invoking section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 for national security reasons. Looking to see what happens, I think we will probably know within the next couple of weeks........all the earmarks of a trade war. I am betting Trump will not back down, and I am not a gambling man by nature.

I was debating this with my son yesterday, it will be a tough pill to swallow as it will add around 55 k to the price of the car
and my biggest fear is it get imposed , and then removed few months later, after a deal is reached which is probably the main reason behind imposing tariffs is to force EU to make a better deal, and those of us that paid it, get screwed

My understanding is German representatives are going to Washington to propose dropping tariffs on all cars. If they are talking, it is a good sign. The problem may be with the EU. I believe it has to agree to the proposal. They don’t want to appear caving to Trump.

If the 20% tariff is imposed which btw is imposed on the stated MSRP, I will give up my RS and keep my .2GT3. I’m not in the income bracket of dropping an additional 45k where there is no added value.
