Birch looks a hair more saturated; LG, a little more pastel.

Picture side by side is pretty compelling.

Just got word from my SA that my car already locked on the 18th and should go into the body shop on the 29th and should be here in early Sept.

Guess since I have a white, low-frills build, mine wasn't affected. Similar to my 991.2 GT3 where I was the first on the West Coast to receive it last year.

Questions for those of you with .2 GT3s that are trading in for the RS. How are you handling negotiating the trade-in price... just waiting until the RS comes in and then trading or are you pre negotiating a price?

My RS is coming in Sept and my plan was to pre-trade when it was on a boat, but I'm not sure if I should just go in now and try and negotiate a number based on the expected mileage at trade-in. Obviously the dealer would love to have me wait until the RS comes in and I'm salivating over it and have lost any negotiating leverage, lol.

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post, thanks in advance!

When I got the .2RS allocation I agreed to not track the '18 GT3. I have thought about an early trade, but enjoy driving the car too much. I should be just over 3K miles when my RS arrives in early Sept.
I'll finish the deal then.

You went V250 on the 18th of June and go V260 the 29th of June? At that rate your car should be arriving in August time frame.

I have a similar issue. MY RS is expected mid September. After considerable thought I decide to turn in my .2GT3 mid August if not sooner. I may be mistaken but the sooner I turn it in with less miles the better price I will get from my dealer. My reasoning is once I decide to buy the RS, the ,2GT3 became expendable. I can live 30 or 45 days without it. I save on insurance, car payment and reduce my exposure to unanticipated issues.

That was my plan as well, but I don't want to get squeezed at the last second when the dealer knows I'm anxious to get into the RS. Obviously there is a trade in number that would make me walk away, but I'd rather not get close to that.

I'm in Los Angeles, so it takes a while to get to the port. It says my car should be at port on August 24. Then it will take a little while to get it out I assume. With my .2 GT3, it took almost two weeks to get from the dealer from the port.

I specced my 3RS with PCCBs and want to know if cleaning the rims with Meguiar's D14001 wheel brightener would be contraindicated. It's an acid based wheel brightener intended to be used to clean the rims but some will get on the rotors and brake calipers.

Pccb leave very little brake dust you don’t need to use those harsh cleaners with them ..

my car locks today but doesn’t go into the body shop until July 14th.: As a result, my car doesn’t get here until mid September. It must literally miss the early boat to the US.
