I checked with my SA today and no change to my delivery, 9/14/18. A white stripper with extended fuel tank , and red dials.

It's washed out only on photos. Washing out of Lizard and some other colors happens due to somewhat fluorescent nature of the color. The very narrow spectral range of the synthetic components of these new colors interact weirdly with photosites and filters in cameras and produce milky appearance. The same phenomenon makes them shift perceived color under different types of lighting, especially fluorescent or LED. But to a human eye it's not a pastel color but a very vibrant one. I'm getting GT Silver, so no bias towards that color. Just trying to explain why there are some debates out there.

I liked lizard green, but 2 of the 4 at my dealer have already picked that color. If I don't get my PTS, I would go with White probably and just wrap it. My PTS color I chose is Viola 3AE with WP and standard gold rims. I just hope no one else in the Phoenix area picks the same. From other posts, it looks like I should find out by 6/25 if I got what I wanted or not. I am a October build with December delivery (up until I picked the PTS color when it opened up the end of May.

Is it you? Or is It someone you know? Where does he live? Is he/she doing WP as well? I live in the Southeast valley of Phoenix (Gilbert/Chandler). Might be OK with it if it is on the other side of town. Might not matter though since I have a October build and currently they are showing PTS starting in November. We put in for PTS the end of May, but haven't seen or heard anything yet.

Hi guys, I was thinking about Viola and WP.
i originally tried to get a GT2RS but that seems unlikely now, so I’ll do it on the GT3RS.
And my wife says we should relocate because we’re so tired of the swamp *** humidity here in FL.

I want WP but that black hood only seems to work with black car. Maybe some other dark PTS colors might work - viola seems like it would.

Congratulations; had a 2018 Miami Blue Cayman S, and I can't tell you how many compliments I got about the colour. Looks much better in person then on the configurator.

Some say .2GT3RS buyers are getting letters from P - were the slot had to be canceled. (i guess it will not be canceled; it will be moved to 2019 / to one with filter)
Because summer (till 1.Sept) is getting to short to deliver all the ordered ones...
