I see that from your previous post above, however, I was on the phone with the dealership directly and the asking price quoted to me by the SA was 150 over.

I was able to score this '19 GT3RS. Car at the port, previous client backed out, I was able to step in. Weird but true story. +15K
Spec'd pretty much the way I wanted except for fire bottle. I actually like metal brakes. After break in, heading to the track at COTA in February!

991.2 GT production runs from 7/17 to 3/19 so ~21 months with 18-19 months of active factory production.

Specifically referring to the .2 GT3 though - looks like it is only about 15 months of production as it is slated to end in Jan.

base GT3 production was July 2017 to Feb 2019 minus a 4week factory closure per year so ~18mo of active production with ~3,100 total estimated for N.A.

How many were there for 991.1? the dealers i spoke to (~20 nationally including the largest (manhattan, champion, etc)) all indicated they received less for .2 vs .1 GT3s

N.A. 991.1 base GT3 = 2,133

there are currently ~2,600 verified N.A. GT3 and then add in Nov/Dec/Jan & Feb production.

I definitely have a hard time believing that given we still have ADMs to the end and based on units received by the dealers I spoke to. Do you have access to a VIN database to confirm the prod numbers? I guess demand scaled up significantly with this generation.

It was tough for me to believe how many Porsche is producing and selling as well. I had to significantly increase my original estimates. I specifically track GT3RS and do have a fully verified VIN database, CamsPorsche and Pors9 track both base and RS.

To date there are 918 verified NA GT3RS and 2749 verified NA base GT3. 90 and 364 are Canadian market.
We expect ~1550 3RS and ~3300 GT3, ~15% go to Canada.

ADMs coming down yet? Feel foolish paying ~20k over for cars, especially used ones.

There are early build PDK cars with miles advertised as CPO at Porsche dealers at or below MSRP. Lots of choices used if you are willing to pay a little bit over sticker. Even nice, manual PTS builds are $20k and less. The only thing I have not seen cheap yet are PTS touring builds, but that should change shortly as more are built.

On the other hand, allocations still seem to hover in the $15-20k range (which really is within $5k of what they have been the whole production period). A couple people were looking for an allocation at $10k over recently, not sure if they got one.

2018 GT3...5k miles...car is loaded to the hilt...which I’m not so sure is a good thing or bad thing. I do like the pccb and LWB. Selling at msrp...I’m kind of tempted but the mental and Sale professional part of me has a hard time buying a used car at msrp.

thoughts and comments and all....I’m currently searching car loans...lol
