I'm not sure that deposit means anything. I spoke with a saleswoman there several times today and was told there are three local customers that have first dibs on the allocation, and they have until close of business Monday to decide if they want it.

Thank you both! I'm in PA, western suburbs of Philadelphia (Main Line area). I just finalized my build at the dealer today and locked everything up on the final specs. Feb 1 delivery date, and will even ship to my house to avoid any hint of salt/brine exposure mid-winter. Now comes the hard part: do I sell a car and stay with two P-Cars, or let it grow? Headed to Scottsdale in January for BJ and other auctions, so I might pick up another toy then...
Notably, another local dealership called me with a $20K ADM within 24 hours after I heard from the MSRP dealer, so there are clearly a few additional GT3 build slots pushing through the system. If anyone wants a $20K configurable allocation, I can point them in the right direction (means nothing to me, just trying to help). My sense is that ADM is coming down, not up. Having nibbled on a few in the market with delivery or more miles, I think market is coming down as supply goes up and winter draws closer.

Any takers on $10k or less ADM on buildable Gt3? Another friend in the market as well for the same. No rush!

The allocation is gone ..looks like someone placed the deposit over the weekend for 5% over as I was the one who retracted from the deal on Friday

I have seen a few GT2RS going for somewhere in the 80k over range as of late.

Lots of 2018 GT3, GT2RS and 2019 GT3RS for sale on sites like car gurus, cars.com and so forth and Porsche dealer sites. Some at MSRP with less than few hundred miles or so. Saw some GT2RS around $300K so those are now showing up for sale.
I have a feeling that in the next month or 2 a lot of these will be well under MSRP.
Also I'm finding deals well under MSRP on 2015-16 GT3 and noticing most GT3RS 2016 are now around $189-$199k.
My neighbor just bought a 2016 GT3 Saphire Blue which is PTSI believe with LWB, full leather and carbon and PCCB for around $150k....sticker was $167k...car looks like new...only 2k miles on it. Saw it in person last week.
I'm at a point where I can trade in my 2017 Carrera GTS and I'm looking hard at 2018 GT3....wife sort of wants a 2017 TurboS though and I like the Turbo S too for a street car and 3-4 track days a year...but the GT3 looks better, really speaks to me to me and is something I've always wanted.
