I just finished configure 3rs yesterday but won’t see it till May or June. Surprised by how far ahead by counting lucky stars I have it.

Most pts slots have to be evaluated over 45 -60 days in advance. So if people put in/ requested immediate action they might have stolen a few chairs. But the longer you wait to pick and longer dealer waits to submit the less likely.

My friend and I have 2018 GT3Ts on the way.....a dealer just called him and offered a 2019 GT3RS allocation for $7500.00 ADM....
Is this a no brainer?.....

Are we looking at this as an investment opportunity ?
Or
The desire to own an RS ?

No better street car to drive on/off track
But
Standard production cars are terrible investments

So which is it ?

It could be either....he is not a flipper....
He would drive it 1-2 years and.......then would probably sell one of the two cars......It would depend on which car he likes the best the GT3RS vs GT3T.....
His theory is that if viewed as an investment it would not be a bad deal since there will be very few 2019 GT3RSs produced...then no new production until the 992 has begun production....

Sorry to disappoint. SA let me know it sold quickly (already sold early this morning). I don’t know the ADM amount (it’s not zero as that didn’t work for me). And it turned out, it was still configurable (explains the ADM more).

The 3RS spec looks around 200k, and that ADM 50K used is still high.
