New GT3/GT2RS Leads With/Without ADM
#2928
Not that I factored it in with the purchase of my toy, but I think prices will go down with 992 deliveries ... just look at the .1 gen, prices are still generally high, but in average below MSRP... and that’s for a 3 or 4 years of ownership. I doubt P is going to change this game... abruptly. But I can see a scenario where 992 MSRPs are pushed even higher than the corresponding .2 vehicle. They also need to make room for other potential new variants and mitigate canibalization between lines... who knows, maybe they will have a GT4 RS? Etc...

Basically all these ADM fees are market driven.
The dealers are using the same concepts as with any other inventory sitting on the showroom floors.
They'll have a set amount of time with price advertised then they start price cutting. They'll even play the flippers game and try to get the car to a different market.
Price it back up high then rinse and repeat the above.
The ADM fees are based on what's selling off the PNA floors. I'm sure they're crunching the numbers on a daily basis on avg ADM on the PNA website.
They probably have the DOM noted for each one also.
You may get lucky if the dealer is willing to work a deal with you. Usually the setup with the VIP is they'll take delivery at MSRP. So the dealer doesn't look bad to PNA charging an ADM. Then go back an work a deal to take 50% of the ADM when it sells to the open market as used or dealer owned..
So with the gt2rs we're probably somewhere in the 80-100k ADM range retail and you'll probably have about 40-50k of negotiating room on the ADM fees on the cars that have already landed.
With the gt3rs you're in a better situation with 20k ADM and 10k of negotiating room.
Long term we're probably looking at both cars going toward MSRP in 3 years time. Doesn't look like either of the above cars are numbered.
As with the 2016 gt3rs 991.1 following the same depreciation schedule we were at 40k this time of year in Oct 2016. Since there those low mile 100-500 miles cars are basically at MSRP today. We'll probably see the same trends with the 991.2 gt3rs
They made probably around 3-4k of the 2016 model. Just looking at what's on the listings 911R have 15 cars listed while the, 2016 991.1 has close to 56 cars. Run the correlation.
Anyone know what we're looking at for the gt2rs?
The 2011 GT2rs model was a numbered car, probably worth 50-70k above list for just for the rarity. at 500 cars
2016 911R with 911 units MSRP cars at 220k listing at 320k
The 2019 GT2RS speculated to be 1000 units
Then again the Carrera GT was not numbered but around 1200 units

Way too many factors to consider. Manual vs PDK - factor in less .2 vs .1 and more .2s over ADM than .1s. During .1, there were threads offering specable allocations at MSRP - did not happen with .2. Also, there might be an economic crash, so no point in conjecturing.
I just checked PNA website for used GT3s and I’m under the impression that prices are actually going up for GT3s. I noticed that on some of the low mileage (<~600) now there’s a $35k to $40k ADM asking... used to top at $30k for a non-PTS until a few weeks ago.... also, for high mileage > 2k, 3k, 4K prices are still above MSRP.

More than half of this thread is conjecturing and that’s what we do at RL ... fun.

My local dealer sold my used PDK and Sofa car for somewhere between 20-25k ADM a couple weeks ago. Had 2k miles. Had 2 guys fighting for it. Dealers seem to be able to get more for sure. Probably has a lot to do with financing and taking trade ins.

Yep we're going to see more of this now. And just wait 'til spring.

There are sooo many gt3/gt3rs/gt2rs getting delivered and going right up for sale that adm may be gone by the new year. They are churning them out and the dealers/flippers think they will be making a quick buck are going to be disappointed.

GT3 producton has essentially stopped so nope.

Could go that way, but I'm in the camp that ADM will stay for awhile and then drop after 992 GT3 comes out.
