While I understand the "buy a GTS if you don't want a wing argument," the GT3 is just so much more special than a GTS. Maybe Porsche should have picked another name than "GT3 Toruing," but it is still an incredible car, and the embodies the spirit and classic silhouette of the 911. Perhaps it could be the perfect "non-GT" 911 ever built, but since it's called a GT3, I guess that can't be true.

lol. Hint: It's not a Skittles color. I hesitated even posting the info, but I saw all the other "confidential" notes for color, so hey, you'll be surprised (pleasantly, I hope). Montoya's a gentleman, so I thought I'd at least be part of the list.

I need your help boys with a dilemma. A good problem - or 1st World Problem - as they say. My dealer called me in on Saturday to tell me i have a PTS allocation. Spring delivery.
My wife and I sat down and went through the configurator and ordered:
6 Speed
PTS (maritime)
painted side sills
Ceramics
Lift
Buckets
Full leather with CXX stitching
Painted vents
Chrono
LEDs
Bose
The car came out around 195-200. I honestly don't think you can order new 991.2 PTS GT3 with less options.
Anyway, here's my dilemma. I have a PTS Riviera Blue 991.1 that i love. It has every option as above but buckets and cxx stitching. My questions are:
1. what do you think my car is worth? 4k miles. Fully loaded. Literally perfect condition. Xpel. This car was owned by rennlister Jaime140.
2. Only i can answer this question, but i am struggling with handing over my car and writing a check for $40k+. Could be $50k all said & done! I'd pay that and more for a new RS for sure. Maybe i wait for the RS?
Yeah, so now for the serendipity. The configurator jammed up on saturday at the dealer. I have to go in again later this week to confirm order.
Thanks boys...

The wing is superfluous in the U.S., so the suggestion that a GT3 isn't a GT3 without one is kind of ridiculous. If you want to make the GT3 badge contingent on what is a design bauble here, I'd say you missed the entire point of the GT3. Does putting a big wing on the GTS make it a GT3? Nope.
It's the 500 HP, naturally aspirated motor and the performance that delivers; The wing doesn't have a thing to do with it.

why is it superfluous? The aero on track is important to me. A gt3 to me is a car that’s 50/50 track and road. Having 500hp is actually the superfluous part of being in the US with no roads to open her up. So I don’t get what your saying at all.

Thanks for posting your info! Lot's of colors will be 'revealed' soon, it's going to be fun!
So, as you might expect - I went ahead and ordered the new GT3. End of April build. Pick it up in Liepzig. Taking family to Germany. Now have to wait for month of May to arrive! Gonna be a long winter.
Happy New Year everyone, list is updated. Thanks for all your posts and PM's!
