Oh boy, big change! Thanks for the update, not sure I could do it unless....(see below)

...This color!! Eduardo knows this was our choice for our Macan PTS, which unfortunately was another "swing and miss" with PAG! Ended up with a Carmine Macan GTS, which looks stunning and as long as my current PTS order goes through all will be forgiven.
Olive isn't a 'Skittles' color, so for now I will stick with my first choice, but it's tempting!!

Thanks Andre for the update. My penalty was 3 month's push to July delivery but family is happier with MB. The GT3RS.2 will definitely be green. I say do it. what's another 3 months

Hoping for a .2GT3RS allocation!!!. If I get PTS even better. On my bucket list is a Euro delivery wtih a new RS.
Looked at all the PTS colors. Alot of blues, alot of greens. Oslo is a rare and unusal blue though. When it comes down to it I think the Gulf orange is too washed out. The Lava is amoung my favorites and suits these cars perfectly. I would like do the .2GT3RS in Lava again or maybe thinking of black gray PTS with double yellow or red stripe over the top and matching belts and calipers. .

I wonder what the odds that they give a "manual" option on the RS. I know some think it is counter to what they want out of the RS but i can see them making the argument since it is going to be produced alongside the .2 GT3
That would really drive up demand

Sorry, you misunderstood my post. For $3555 you are only modifying the bucket seat inserts- not the surrounding leather. That will require the full custom seat tailoring option which is $8K+. You can choose for the insert any of the 911 leathers available in standard options. Hope this is clearer.
- Full leather ($3,480)
- CXX Houndstooth Seat Inserts ($3,555)
- Colored (e.g. Lava/RY) Stitch ($3,500) as it adds "Interior Trim Package with Decorative Stitching and Embroidery in Deviated Thread"
Is it fair to assume that option 1 above (Full leather) doesn't change from $3,480 if say I wanted as part of the $8K CXX interior/seat upcharge to do for example Agate (or Espresso) leather? While $8K can be a large amount to swallow, if one is looking to do a couple of seemingly 'smallish' a-la-carte options (inserts + stitching), seems to me there is a case to do the full Monty, no? Or am I trying to find the arbitrage in the 'unarbitrage-able' Porsche slippery slope game? LOL

Pretty sure nothing including price changes on the full leather option when you CXX the seats.
The only arbitrage I have ever heard of was that the leather to sample option included deviated stitching in the price making it less expensive than ordering full leather and full stitching on a non-GT 911. Unfortunately, Porsche does not have leather to sample as an option on GT cars (I would have ordered it to get black natural leather).
Somewhat relatedly, exclusive told me I could get any leather I wanted for $8800 on the seats, not just any 911 leather. I know there is a GT3RS with panamera cedar natural leather on the seats (that one also got the full leather to sample treatment — dash, door panels etc. through CXX). Can’t hurt to ask if that is still true. Something like natural brown, ascot brown etc. would be a nice touch on the seats, especially on a touring.
