Just picked her up. First thing I did was de-badge so as to reduce number of street race challenges.

2019 Subaru STI here. 2 mile daily commute this gets the job done and is only available in a manual transmission. Not as fast as the RS but it is a fun daily driver!

I would be surprised to see audi attempt to sell any of them at that price. Imo audi has always been third after mb and bmw and the wagon market is way too small to charge that much.

Been wanting a "run-a-round" car so I don't have to take my TTS or my MegaCab Diesel truck, so last night I happened upon this 2015 VW GTI. 6sp. manual with a 2 year CPO warranty at my local dealer.

I came home with it.

The truck

I'd like to have one, but I agree...$160k is getting into Panamera ST Turbo money. The RS6 Avant shouldn't be much more than an RS7...which is about the same as an E63 wagon...if they plan to sell any. Would rather they brought the RS4 over...the latest A/S/RS/6/7 models are really big and heavy. I rented an A6 Avant in Europe earlier this summer specifically because I knew there was a good chance this was coming, and was not particularly impressed. Granted it was a 2.0TDI, but I didn't get the 'wow, this would be great with a bigger motor and stiffer suspension' feeling I was hoping for.

Loved the Mk7 GTI I had.

I was thinking 115k. Let's see who's closer. If it really is close to 160k, that's just ridiculous.

I read that it'll be close to the MB E63S wagon price. So $120K.. There's no way it will be $160K unless its loaded with options?

It will be heavy and not handle as well as a Porsche. Why everyone is so excited? 🙄

The rarity factor and long term lust for them when we didn't get any of the fast wagons for so long. It won't be $160k...

Wagons >>>>>>> SUVs

It will be less fun than a GT3, but a heck of a lot more fun than a Cayenne, and for 99% of intents and purposes, just as useful.

You certainly have not driven one and much less on the track.

how do you like it? I got a ride in one of these last week. what a beast. I expected to be impressed by the acceleration, but what really surprised me was how tight the handling felt. I'd be lying if I said I haven't been looking into buying one since...
