I inked the paperwork last month for the first RS6 Avant allocation my dealer will receive. It’s a big Audi Sport dealership (same owner as my Porsche dealer). They expect to receive 3 or 4 Avants. Sales Manager said only 300 will be coming to our shores (but who knows). I expect it to be a very cool DD.
I had a modded 2003 back in the day - that thing was a beast. Torque was insane.
The RS6 is gonna be awesome, although, the above AMG wagon will be a tough act to follow. I'm on my 4th Audi, a '16 S6, and it one of the best cars I've owned...other than my GT3
RS6 Avant is interesting. Somehow I missed that they were going to make it to the US. I always thought a E63s wagon would be a cool daily and somehow I like the look of them while the E63 Sedan doesn't do it for me looks wise. The turbo V8 AMGs sound amazing. The Audi will have a hard time topping the V8 AMG sound.

Still can't believe you went from E63->Taco. Need to replace my E63 wagon and struggling with what to get, but that isn't on the list.
My daily is usually something boring and comfortable but I was really looking forward to the E63. I was very upset when the problems began. Anyway, I like the Tacoma now and maybe I'll like a Hyundai next! I'm not a car snob at all. I can drive what I want but sometimes I prefer being inconspicuous.

Didn't mean it as a snobby thing at all, just polar opposites. Variety is the spice of a car guy's life so I get it on some level. Normally would expect another high hp German, then again I sold mine and don't have the itch for anything like it either. Who knows maybe I wind up in the same spot.
