curious how the RS6 owners are finding the lack of interior noise? Reviewers seem to say it is pretty subdued.

The E63 is definitely tuned to the firmer side but need to drive the retuned ‘21 to verify. Best combo would be the ride of the RS6, power train from the E63, interior of the Audi and styling somewhere in between.

That's the biggest complaint for me.. I had an F80 M3 prior and even with the BMW "fake" noise it at least gave you some audio experience. But I did replace the stock F80 exhaust with Aftermarket... There's already some aftermarket options for the RS6. I'll likely end up with something that'll enhance the experience. Outside of that the car is awesome and to me the E63 doesn't come close (looks, interior, etc). Exhaust is an easy fix...

Hey man! Fairfield Audi... would be great to connect once I've got it. Really excited about this car. They are really special.

It purrrs for sure. Way too subdued from factory. But, cat-less downpipes and a titanium exhaust has fixed that problem. Stage 2 fixed the power problem. She’s perfect now!

Milltek cat-less downpipes to an Akrapovic titanium. It ROARS in dynamic. Sounds the business. A proper bark.

In comfort, valves close, and it's incredibly civil.

Thank you! Yes, CETE. What a handy little gadget that is, wow! The above pics are 'show mode'. -55mm all around. Won't drive it there, I've set the comfort setting at -30mm ish.

RSQ8 I ordered in august just got confirmed for March delivery. Torn between the two. Not paying ADM for the 6 right now, so probably just take delivery in March and wait a bit till the hype dies and make the switch, we’ll see. Awesome cars. Audi is killing it at the moment. If I do keep it I’ll be doing exact same exhaust combo for the RSQ8.

Looks great. How is the interior noise/drone in dynamic? I saw someone else with catless downpipe said it was too much. Do you spend much time in dynamic or only when playing around?

I got my RS6 2 months ago. Live in Los Angeles, had to go to TX to find one. IT's the best BEST DD by a HUGE margin, and ALMOST as much fun as my GT2RS.....and completely different. Always puts a smile on my face.

To OP: GORGEOUS color, and would you mind PM'ing me exactly what you did in terms of performance mods (including $$ if ou don't mind...)

Picked up one of these.Really like it. Had been thinking of getting an older BMW for some time including original M3 or 1M so when they announced this vehicle I figured I get it. Seems to combine some of the old with the new. So far I really like it and will serve some daily duties. Also at the moment and for the foreseeable future my only vehicle with back seat.
Also in my opinion a nice stablemate to her older German cousin.
