Alfa is fantastic. The way it looks, the way it drives, the way it makes you feel. It stands out, especially in Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat paint. Its not another BMW nor Audi, not too many on the roads here in North East. A huge plus in my opinion.
This is my first Alfa Romeo car. Im aware of their history with quality and reliability. But still, when I first saw the pictures, read the reviews, watched Jeremy Clarkson video, I knew I had to have it. With huge discounts on 2018s, how can you not get one ? I got my '18 with a 90k sticker for $65k + Tax. You can get even cheaper if you shop around and don't need specific options, but I had to have Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat paint, carbon brakes, and carbon seats. I love it.

I love your touring. Why would you get another manual with buckets as a daily? I’m now looking for a touring with sofas as a alternate daily. Never mind. Found your touring. So tempting.

I have been splitting my daily driving between my .2 GTS4 and my Chevy Silverado. Just traded the Chevy for a new Land Cruiser. The Porsches are going into hibernation for the winter months. The new LC will cover most of the DD duties, but on a nice day I’ll still take out the GTS.
Looking forward to spreading around the DD duties even further in the summer when my RS6 Avant arrives . . .
How's the Land Cruiser for driving dynamics? Fun to drive, or is it more about the capabilities of that vehicle? I always assumed it was boring to drive and the appeal was that it's super reliable and capable off-road.

It’s a total dinosaur, but that’s why I love it. 2008 technology, but it literally feels like a rolling bank vault. Ride is cushy but not a problem. MPGs are abysmal and will only get worse when I put some bigger KO2s on it.

I'm looking at new options for the family daily (really should just be called the wife-mobile and dog hauler) and really eyeing the Lexus LX570 and Toyota Land Cruisers too (2016+ vintages).
The LX570 interior is winning me over, need to schedule a test drive of each truck and see which the other half likes more. My bet is the LX570, since it'll be a mall crawler and blizzard fighter.
It'll be a bit of a jump from her SQ5, which we love. We wanted to move to a Macan GTS, but discovering the "PDK" in the Macan is actually an Audi DSG removed that from the running. I dealt with the Audi DSG enough in the B8.5 S4 I had...
