BTW, the AWE wind deflector will significantly improve the buffeting, plus it looks pretty good.

D
There's already some damage to the Expel in that area. Actually, there was some damage even before the track day. Definitely get that area covered because it's gonna get damage.

I'm going to look into getting that AWE wind deflector, thanks!

I aways get rubber marks everywhere at all 3 tracks here in norcal. The hood, the rocker panel, rear quarter panel, doors, roof. Everywhere. LOL. I have no idea if the tracks brush and blow at all.

All cleaned up. Man, the only thing bad about a track day is cleaning up the car afterwards!

Don't know about Ridge Motorsports Park but I pick up tons of track rubber at various tracks on the east coast. At least similar to (and probably a lot more than) Joe's pic. Yes, getting all that crap off of a white car is a PITA....

Thunderhill does a fantastic job of cleaning the track after every event. I am usually one of the last ones out of the paddock (gotta learn to load the gear and car into the trailer faster!), and I always see the sweeper out there.

Agreed on the comment about dirt and rubber marks on the car. When I was at Sebring earlier this year, it struck me that the cars didn't get as dirty there. Must be the humidity. CA is very dry and dusty. And naturally, we drive faster, so we throw up more clag.

OK, this his how BAD the track precision app is (I can't believe I have to use a second camera to video the video off the phone...):

hmm that's disappointing. I don't care about the video recording capabilities, I'm using GoPros for that anyway. But I was hoping that the data recording is solid and more stable than using a OBD2 Bluetooth adapter (because the track precision app uses Wifi)... but from your video it looks like it has significant lag/noisy data for throttle and steering input

That's what I use and it's great. Still PITA though to wash and de-clag after every event.

Oh wow, they is embarrassingly horrible. They looks nothing like their promo videos suggested it would behave.

I know you're not a complainer, but I would (and will) demand a refund for that crap if they don't fix it with an update.

We need to find the right contact at Porsche that has skin in the game for the GT3 to get this embarrassment fixed.

The car can pull some serious Gs. I can't even pull myself out of the seat to grab the iphone until we hit a braking zone. LOL!
