PCNA to delay GT3 Production?

Unless you are already past your original dates, don't stress it too much. There is a good chance is can switch back and go into production by your original date (or close to it). This has happened with several builds this year and they still end up arriving close to the original date. Production timing is very volatile right now and keeps being reshuffled every few days on all GT cars due to PTS volume and special production models (like the Exc Series and new Turbo Saffron paint process), or so I hear...

So followed up w my SA and I just went from V220 to V250 in one day with my delivery st dealer date going from 5/25 to 6/1. So slight push back but not much. Very pumped about this car! Feel fortunate. March build.

Interesting. I have an 4/6 build with 6/1 delivery last I checked. I wonder if it's moved...

Well guys I am out. My GT3 PTS Voodoo went from March build April delivery to June build August delivery over the last two months. I decided this week to give the allocation back to the dealer to pursue the RS allocation once he receives those (hopefully on Monday). I have zero faith the GT3 was not going to be moved back again as it has so many times. Plus don’t really want to wait until August to get a car and then get the RS end of year or thereabouts. So I am jumping into a manual Boxster GTS for Spring through winter to await the GT3RS. I know they are very different cars (GT3 vs Boxster GTS) but I need something now that is fun to drive. Maybe me bailing on the GT3 will make someone else very very happy. Now if the RS allocations come in and I am waiting until next Spring, at least I am in something for a year that will be enjoyable to drive.

I got my allocation 2 weeks ago and it went to V200 last 03/14. Expected to enter production on 5/4 with 6/29 delivery date. Let us see what will happen. My 2 previous experiences with Porsche production schedules were off by 1 week, gave or take. But regarding ED with Porsche, it's a hit or miss. It is hard to get the date that you prefer. I gave them 9 months in advance but still they were not able to provide that date that I requested. In contrast, early this month, I ask my BMW dealer for an M3 ED delivery on May this year and everything were finalized in a week with the date I requested. I will just do a Porsche Museum and factory tour. I just hope that my GT3T is past that stage when I am doing the factory tour.

As best as I understand it, production has been suspended for ~3 weeks in April; (based on the dates for my car on the build system) my car was originally scheduled to enter the bodyshop (V260) on 3/30
and was due to exit (V270) and enter (V280) on 4/13 and exit (V300) on 4/20, and now the expected dates are 5/25, 6/8 and 6/15 respectively, at a first approximation, I'd say that any car that begins production
prior to 3/30 is "safe" ... anyone thereafter will potentially be impacted.
hope this is useful for others...
YMMV

I'm kind of worried now. Last time I checked (3/8) V300 for me was planned for 3/30 (expected 3/23), should I be ok?
When did you check that?

My PTS manual car went from May build/June delivery to Aug build/Sept delivery. When I ordered it the assumption was that it would be a Q1 build, so I traded the RS in December - oops! The only good news is that I still have PTS. I keep reminding myself that this is a first world problem!
