my '18 is now status V300 and has a VIN - no PTS - it was built pretty much on schedule - the window slid around from 2/23 to 3/23 at various points - but it's now built and on it's way to Benicia - should be here just in time for XMAS - LOL - hopefully sooner.

Dealer sales rep has been kind enough to keep me in the loop.

I'll post more about this on my euro delivery recap thread once I get back stateside (I think, I might get lazy lol), but I was in Zuffenhausen today to take delivery of my GT3. A day earlier I snooped around the factory buildings to try and get sneak peeks at cool stuff through the fences (was not disappointed) and based on what I saw plus doing the factory tour today, it seems like literally every other car being built right now is a GT car. Especially the GT3 and GT3 Touring pack. I would say 35% of the cars I saw were GT3's and 15% GT2RS/new .2 GT3RS, both on the line and sitting outside with the protective white wrap/trim waiting for shipment. PTS was still on the line and outside already built but maybe 1 out of every 10 GT3s that I saw. Notice I said one out of every 10 because I probably saw close to 30 .2 GT3s in the span of 2 days here
So for whatever reason PAG seems like they are mashing the throttle on GT production, if many of you are being delayed/pushed back maybe they just focusing on RoW for now?

There was also a golf or arrow blue-ish GT3 done as well as a signal yellow touring that I can remember off the top of my head... in all honesty between the delivery of my car and the factory tour I just about blacked out from the excitement

My impressions from my factory visit in March were as follows.
From what you see around the buildings, parked cars and cars being loaded to trucks, you would actually think they are only building GT cars and Turbo exclusives.
But when visiting the actual built line, there were not so many GT cars between all those Turbos, Targas, GTS, and Boxsters.
But yes, cars around the buildings give a strange impression in regards of GT built numbers.
My take on that is that maybe a higher percentage of GT cars are factory collected (vs. normal cars) and therefore they take up unproportional parking space around the factory.
