Actually not a fracture
I checked it, just some accumulation of brake residue .

On this topic...

If you regularly track your car, it pays to inspect the wheels carefully and regularly. I think this goes without saying, but you'd be surprised how many forged wheel centers or barrels will eventually form hairline cracks after flogging 3,000+ pounds of P-car around on hot sticky tires. Add to this the heat cycles of braking... well, you get the idea.

Look 'em over boys and be safe out there.

Are forged wheels more or less susceptible?

Forged are always better than cast or any of the other permutations.

This.

My point is even the best ones can fail. Inspection can save your bacon.

I keep a cracked forged wheel center on my garage wall as a reminder to self.

Not all forging or castings are the same.

Had the Carnwell GT exhaust installed. A big thanks to Gert! The exhaust is perfect, and the sound is just right. I could definitely tell a difference in the response of the car. Also added 981 black exhaust tips to match

Picked up some screens as well, and they already scavenged some debris.

Well not just today.. Installed Spyder suspension, oil change, spark plug change, gearbox oil change, air filters changed and serpentine belt changed. Not as bad as I thought it would be except maybe for changing the front sway bar.

Congratulations! That's a lot of work!

Would love to see more pics and your driving impressions.
