Started the 'wake-up' process from winter hibernation today..
Recently picked up a new air filter and cabin air filter - so that was the task. I also haven't had the engine cover off in quite some time, and was surprised at how clean it was under there.
While I was changing the cabin air filter, I noticed a rubber line that isn't connected to anything. Anyone know what that is (see photo)? I couldn't see anything obvious for it to plug on to.
Just need to get the insurance and registration updated and then it's time to hit the road. I'm planning a road trip to Arizona next month (from Central Alberta)... so that's going to epic!!
I put my side stripes back on (that was fun), and I removed really bad decisions for about 6 hours!! I can’t feel my finger tips anymore. The previous owner must’ve hated me…lol

I believe that line plugs into your battery to vent gas. There should be a hole on the side or top of the battery it pops into.

Weird... I'll have to pop those plastics off again before I get it out of the garage. It was a replacement battery in 2021 when I bought the car. Either they didn't plug it in - or it doesn't have that on this battery..
I'm too cheap to buy fancy cradles.. lol..
But yeah with the car sitting for 6 to 7 months a year, I like to mitigate those flat spots.
We always park our racing bikes with the tires on wood, rather than cold concrete - supposedly better for the tires. (Better still off the ground on race stands)
The battery tube - some batteries are “sealed”, and have no vent.
picking up my Cayman from my Indy today or tomorrow had a Fabspeed headers installed,Ferodo street/track brake pads and Motul brake fluids, and oil/filter change. Next is the Dyno to find out what's up.
Anyone near zip 08048 (Lumberton, NJ) wants to baseline dyno (no tuning) their Cayman i can get you in for free. DM me.
She put out 372 whp or 444 @ the crank hitting 7500 rpms pump gas on a Mustang dyno. probably a little more if not for the traction control keeps on popping up and we don't know how to defeat it during the run. Very happy and content with the result.
Torque was 277 lb

Reason: typos

Per my Indy who installed the Fabspeed headers there's no cat after the headers (CEL on) only the secondary that is part of the muffler
The 987.1 had the secondary cats in the muffler inlets, the 987.2 did not.....all 4 cats were in the manifolds.
So if you have no cats in the manifolds, you're catless on a 987.2.
