This past weekend I was lending a hand to a good friend to replace some gaskets on his Audi TT. That friend also happens to manage AutoGeek, one of the largest detail product distributors in the country. So we spent some time getting the car right.

Confirmed: GT4RS underbody aero fits the 981 with no modifications and in the factory locations.

Reached out to my contact at Suncoast to get a set of these. Still trying to gather the rear ducts that will compliment these.

Please tell me there is a jackstand somewhere out of frame. Getting under a car lifted only by one of those lightweight aluminum jacks is a very very bad idea.

Yes, on the side that was up each time. Just out of frame. Thanks for your concern!

I'm currently curating all the suspension and chassis bits.

What I have so far:
  • JRS RS One
  • Tarret Sway Bars and End Links
  • All BBI Arms and Links
  • New Tie Rod Ends
I have held off on installing this because the ultimate next step is more liters and shorter gears! I'm working on saving and putting together a powertrain upgrade. 4.0 or bust!

Had the GT4RS rear aero come in last week. Over the weekend I was able to install them. They bolt to two unused holes on the lower arm. It was a bit tricky since I have the Verus Engineering rear flat bottom tray. With the appropriate hardware it works just fine.

Installed some RS door nets. I prefer these over the hinged door pockets which are not the easiest to get in and out of.

Been a while since I updated this thread. Several things have transpired including some much needed maintenance. The car received JRZ suspension, Tarret arms and links, added the rear AP racing brakes to match the front and several little side projects.

Default Rear wing

[QUOTE=cfarm3r;18200487]It is NOT an actual TechArt spoiler. I'm all for supporting companies and understand R&D costs, but I'm not a fan of being bent over for 4k for what that thing is made out of. It is a knock off that I took the time to sand/fill and get it right before paint. There are products that are just not worth the price tag IMO and some companies that just take advantage of the customer makeup metrics.

It looks really good. Is this the Bayson R TA style wing? I’m looking to get one myself.

I believe I got this from alibaba or a similar site. The uprights are actually from Deman Motorsport, I got them to sell me larger versions from their wing kit. I'm sure the Bayson R is similar or being resold as the same thing LOL.
