Here is a real nice Polar Silver 95 at a dealer in GA asking 25k$ with 130k miles

1995 Porsche 968. Vin WP0AA2968SS820239. 130911 Miles. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Polar Silver Metallic Exterior. Black Leather Interior. Clean Carfax.Clean Title. Car comes with Service records 2-Keys Tools Spare and a Jack. This 968 is overall in nice condition. The Polar Silver paint is very shiny and from the photos you can see how emanating and presentable this car really is. Its definitely a stand out on our country Georgia roads. There are a few minor sporadic blemishes on the cars exterior but nothing out of the norm for a 26 year old classic with this type of mileage. The Black Leather interior is equally nice and everything has been nicely preserved. Everything is fully operational including the AC and the radio. The stock OEM 17 Porsche wheels are fitted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires which are barely 2 years old and have plenty of tread. The performance of this 968 is spot on and nothing misses a beat! The essential timing belt service was completed in August of this year and the car has traveled less than 100 miles since. All the other belts tensioners and rollers were replaced as well. A new clutch and clutch master cylinder were installed in 2018 with 127232 miles on the clock. The car spent most of its life in sunny San Diego CA under the care of two separate Porsche enthusiasts.

The the cup 1 ones were not the 17" standard optional wheels on a 1995. The engine looks like it has chicken pox, pitted something terribly and the center beauty cover is missing.
No pictures of the front seat bolsters which often means that they're worn.

That IS a nice color on 968's. No dashboard cracks.

That Amazon Green car is nice. Very similar to my Midnight Blue car that will be on there soon. I assume the variable paint meter readings imply some repaint area? I decided to have a few areas of my car repainted before selling.

Many areas must have been resprayed as it looks like a lot of overspray on the underbody and front batwing when you look at photos. Surprising that prepping a car with photos of undercarriage dont also include the cost of a can of semi-flat black to hit the overspray on the undercarriage.

Car looks very nice overall and has the early 92 recessed hood badge but missing early 92 badging on rear of car. Is that a dent on passenger front fender near headlight or is that background reflection, or both ?

Already above $20K on day 1.

That dealer has had quite a few 968's over the past few years. I can recall an AG and GR immediately.

actually, cars from the factory have some overspray on various portions of the underbody. I agree that the batwing should have no paint on it, so it's fairly easy to surmise that it is at least partially repainted. I am also with you on the appearance of a dent near the headlight. The reflections don't look correct. If they wanted the top dollar, undercarriage should have been cleaned with dry ice blasting.

Pretty.
Seller did well here. It was listed at Dick Barbour (same dealer with the recent PS) back in 2020 for $25k.

Has has a lot of work done ... Not sure if that's good or bad, at least they're being transparent.

I did notice that the November 2021 oil change, at some quickie lube place, lists the oil as 0w-40 ... I certainly hope that's not really what they put in the car since they should have used 15w-50 high zinc content oil.

Mine is a coupe, all original, except i gave up and decided to have some of the paint redone. Should be done soon. Then I hope to figure out how to get the check washer fluid light to go out..lol.

Jay,

Just wondering, they call Midnight Blue Metallic paint code=39C. My 94 coupe in Midnight Blue Metallic is called F8. Do coupes have different paint codes than ragtops for the same color?

Thanks,
