Interiors were mostly Saddle, then Black. Everything works the clock runs but can’t attest to accuracy . No Reasonable offer refused. pics available

Where is there a debate on how many 968s produced for North America? The register knows.
2,234 coupes, 2,008 cabs. And this is 1 of 2 Marine blue cabs, assuming it is Marine blue. Factor in the interior, 1 of 1.

As a person who still lurks here and misses my 3 prior 968s, I think this listing might be a scam. When I went to google pics of marine blue 968s after seeing this craigslist ad I found this post on here from 2013!! https://rennlist.com/forums/968-foru...-for-sale.html Notice a lot of the verbiage is the exact same and somehow in 9 years the mileage is still the same 72k and the price is the same $15,000. In 2013 it was listed in Detroit yet its a CA car it says.
Just some info for anyone who is looking into it. I was going to jump on it myself but all these coincidences made me decide against contacting the seller and putting down a deposit.
Too bad it will never be driven more than a few thousand miles (probably less to keep it under 10K) for the rest of its life.
Makes me think I am lucky with my 1990 - 944cab......67k miles. to many to win any car shows for being brand new...... too little to worry about breaking it.
2,500 miles last year made it a great spring / summer / fall weekender.....and she hibernated all winter. I am blessed we get to enjoy her.

I looked at this cab 3 years and 12 days ago in San Francisco and verified the VIN and paperwork. The car is legit. Interior was very nice. It did not show much wear (not 72K worth). The exterior looked good but was in "barn find" condition (very dusty) so was hard to tell. As I recall there was a minor bumper scrape. As I recall, the owner was asking the same price. I made an offer and he did not accept. If I had room.............

I started my transaxle saga by looking for a 944 S2 cabriolet. Ended up with a 968 coupe.
RE: Midnight Blue on BAT: Has anyone else done the same top of hatch frame exterior reinforcement metal strip trick? If so, experience comments greatly appreciated. I thought I'd seen every option for this problem, but this is a new one to me.
