I think this shows growth and the continued strength of the 968 resale market. This is a new highwater market for a coupe in the US. We have had a couple of others sell in the $65-75k range.
Good news for those of us that are big fans of the model.
Lee, MAFor sale, our beautiful Wimbeldon green Porsche 968 on a white/black two tone interior and a six speed manual transmission. Quite a rare combination. This 968, was recently serviced here, including timing/balance belts/engine mounts/oil pan gasket/spark plugs/oil change ECT and comes with a rather large stack of previous service records from clutch work to variocam service. Overall the car is in excellent shape and drives as good as it looks and was definitely well taken care of. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Offer them $28 and see what they say...
Seems like it was well taken care of AND nice color.
Wow, that coupe is nice than mine, but still bodes well for my midnight blue 54k mile coupe. It's still sitting at the shop waiting on some part for the sunroof latching mechanism before I place it up for auction. I should sent it in to BAT anyways so they might have listed it around the same time as those two.

4k fewer miles than mine and bordering on double the price. Yeah mine needs a little bit of body/paint work and I don't have the (forgive me) Cup 2 wheels but that's not 15k worth of difference. Yes, the color does affect it but was that color that much more desirable/rare over Polar Silver? Well according to the archives, it's the most rare of the non PTS colors with only 9 produced. I can see that adding some value. Also has heated seats and cruise control.
I assume Gage is talking about how that 968 has the earlier version seats which were also in the 944. Those seats are much softer overall including the leather than the later version 968s have. The early version especially in light grey like that will look like that with 100k miles. Mine were not that worn, and with simple restoration they look perfect again.

So how does one tell? Did all '92-'93 cars have those seats as standard?

I cant say whether more desirable....that is up to personal taste but the 85K Riviera Blue car with darn few options other than cloth interior, Cup 1 wheels, sun roof delete proves its ALL about the color and perceived rareness desirability. That car did not have M030, sport/club sport, 220 limited slip......
