Seems like a pretty great deal, given some of the auction prices lately.

Great catch! Since this is a 1995, I believe the driver's side in correct and the passenger side is not.

If you look closer, half of the passenger side is correct. Only the back has been replaced. The lower section is the correct later style.

i'm sure y'all have convened about this lovely car.
To see this--for us long timers, semi long timers and ancients,
is like stepping back in time. So nice.
Should have fetched more.

Default Meecum Auction Jan 4-15 has a 968 Cab

Recent PCA email highlighted the Porsches going up for Meecum auction this Jan. One 968 white with blue top cab is highlighted.

If the year and last 3 of the VIN were available, Sir Jeff can weigh in on the details of this combination and other details of the car.

They didn't include the VIN in the Meecum description unfortunately

Euro Motors in Lee Mass has not one but TWO manual 968 coupes, both with sport seats in stock! https://www.euromotorsma.com/coupe-for-sale-b100011

The Amethyst Metallic is at least 1 of 19 per Sir Jeff's information...might screen down further based on specific details. Looks like it has LSD and Sport Seats.

Too bad it has the wrong wheels on it.

Unfortunately, not a recessed hood badge car.

OTOH - the Gray has the recessed hood badge - no options sticker shot - but it is a Japanese market car - complete with the road flare (NLA). Pretty cool example.

If I ever purchased another 968, I would want a Amethyst Metallic, this one is beautiful. Darn. Where is Santa when I need him?
