what did you do with your 968 today.....

Three Wheelin'
I actually did this over a few days, but I think it counts. Some of you may appreciate this:
Various WYAIT parts
There was rust and oxidation to various degrees and, since I have things apart, I decided to try and fix things forever.
For those interested this is Prismatic Powder Subtle Gold, with a Clear Vision topcoat. My technique, or gun, or setup, or something, is not optimal, so you can see some areas that are not as well covered but I hope that the worst of it is hidden by other components in the car.
Cheers

That is an M22 lock nut. They are not nylocks from Porsche but M22 locknuts and they are tightened to 369 ft/lbs....not falling off easily

An OD appearance with nothing to say.... Two questions....How is the "sledgehammer" and have you made the molds of your fenders yet or commissioned someone in the states to do it. On the latter...Boost Feen has commissioned Kyle Schiemann composites to make a carbon fiber hood and I dropped a factory one off to him as a template. All he needs now are your fenders and he will have quite an offering for 968's. I checked out a few of his carbon fiber projects in his shop that were impressive to say the least. So if the sledgehammer is going to be in Detroit look him up!

i've been very busy in the past year exploring lots of mountains, canyons, and doing some surfing in Ventura. The Sledgehammer is fine, but i still haven't made it as warm as i desire for the cold weather.
I need to put on a bigger oil cooler for summer heat wave Boston gridlock.
The car overall: quite fine. I tend to drive it from late April to early December with a few turns, or maybe a quick ride into the City during thaws.

Yesterday, I removed my chipped windshield and changed the brittle old dashboard for a pretty well preserved used dashboard. The old one had suffered from the californian sun for too long.
Today I installed (glued) the windshield into the frame. Of course tomorrow I'll finish the rest and clean my hood and the car completely.

The pitted windshield in my 200k mile cabriolet is about the most noticeable difference vs my 55k miles coupe. Guess I need to copy your dash/windshield duo. Problem is finding a dash that isn't worth more than my car.
