The whole thing would have been been a lot less painful if the guy had the ability to type 3 digits into Google search 🤣

For "Blue," I did the following:
- new wipers
- new metal, black powder-coated sun visor clips - the original plastic ones were crumbling
- did the glove box support arms fix
- removed the cassette box / arm rest cover so I can recover it in new black vinyl
- put it on Tire Cradles to help reduce tire flat spots over the winter
- and got this for it:

"its number is a cut above the 959 so not a 4 cylinder..." "...the rarest 944 they probably made.."

As ste mentioned, you'd think googling the numbers first off would have saved him (and us) 4 minutes of nonsense.

What tire cradles did you use/find? The ones that I have looked at cost as much as new tires.....

Daniel,

I have a bookmark folder on my computer for all 968 stuff. When somebody here mentions that they found a rare part at whatever web-site, I mark it.
Where and when I found it I do not remember. But 968's are so rare that my Porschephiles may have heard of 968's very few have actually seen one. Glad I see one everyday!

Kingroon - was quite the process to get the label right. Glad I have it, but it will be a LOOOONG time before that goes in! So many other things to address in advance. I’ll eventually get the labels for the other coupe and the cab as both of those are disintegrating / half gone.

Yogii - Tire Cradle brand. Set of four is under $349 from their website.

Default took delivery

Well, after a 8 week journey across the Atlantic, thru the Panama Canal, then up the West Coast to Seattle, she finally arrived! Spent the weekend detailing, looking for issues - next trip, a service at Porsche. A couple of pics follow.
