what did you do with your 968 today.....

I looked at it and searched for covers since it's being evicted from it's home until it's final home can be built.
Anyone have leads on covers for the 968?

I bought one through California Car cover company. I got a Noah car cover. I was made by covercraft, so you could probably order directly from them.

Thanks. For those prices, I might as well buy one with the Porsche logo already on it. Guess I've been spoiled by having a car cover come with my other cars.

Drove mine for the first time in almost 3 years.
Burst my clutch cable in May 2018 and life and laziness got in the way and sadly, it sat.
Finally got off my butt and fixed everything. Replaced oil, gas, coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs and fires right up, not skipping a beat at all.
Unfortunately, will probably being selling after 10 mostly enjoyable years.

Spacer change is needed, if you go for a freewheel pulley, as I did. The Spacer is directly behind the pulley.

Small changes as I start eating this elephant of a 968 that I bought. I hate the plastic trim connectors that started to become ubiquitous right during the time my 968 was manufactured so when I had to remove the glove bin trim piece in the engine bay, I took the opportunity to change out the clips in the body for these guys:
M6 thread, 16 mm flange
Here's how I expect that to work, in the distant future:
I might need to alter that knurled screw head a bit, but it fits very nicely right now in the trim piece
These little bits of "improvement" help me feel like I'm making some kind of progress on this car.
Cheers

Interesting. That's one of the places that has had no problem at all on mine. Lots of other clips, screws, etc. that were missing or wrong, just not there.

@LM964 : That's right, McMaster calls them "screw to install rivet nuts" or jack nuts (https://www.mcmaster.com/90186A107/).
