Picked it up from the upholstery shop today. Looks absolutely awesome! Tinted rear window to boot....
While it was in for the top I replaced the lights that came with the brake cooling duct as they were pretty much useless and looked really cheap. These are really bright, took it for a short drive tonight and only used the driving lights.

Looks fantastic. I give you a lot of credit going with the original magenta top. It would have been so much easier to switch to black but the results are worth it. Wheels really work on the car as well.

To me Magenta is only choice. Black would have commoned it up. I think I once saw that color with a gray top. Better than black but still bad with that paint. Love gray tops tho. Look left.

Thanks guys! I considered going with a black top but, just couldn't do it. Think it would have been the next best option. Magenta is probably a less masculine color but, I do really like unusual colors on cars.

Made my own custom XPEL stone guards last night and applied them today. Came out pretty good for a first timer. Left side has a couple of tiny bubbles and just a sliver hanging over the edge but can't see it unless your a foot from it.
I ordered 2 off eBay and they did t even come close to fitting (pathetic), sending them back.

Thanks Jerry. Nice job on the Xpel! Need to do mine too.
Here was one of my other projects this weekend. Lots of time and money and it doesn't fit! My fault, I should know better than to take somebody at their word...and test fit first! Hits the hood on the drivers side. Going to have to grind a notch to make it fit. Hope it doesn't compromise its strength. Oh well, I'm in it this far!

Junk yard find. Sat for 8 years. I did the belts and FOE service last year. Going forward after getting the 928 up as daily driver.
Today.
Installed the starter harness I built.
Power steering filter and hoses
brake res.
radiator and hoses
Starter install
Exhaust connected
Drained fuel tank
Flushed oil out
Waiting on Intake gasket to finish up.
I put a battery in it for the first time in 10 years.
Starter turned engine...
all lights work
seats work
Big smile all around
