I've had a ton of variations on 968's but never retained Cup 1 or Cup 2. No disrespect intended for those who like them or wish originality. I've used BBS 17s and 18s. Moda 18s. 10 spoke 17s and 18s (both styles) and others.
BTW, I'm being kicked for not listing price of shroud set. $195. That should handle it.

I thought the top looked pretty good. Same color? Not that you need my advise but be sure to do all the air and water leak testing. Also, the up/down test until they throw you out. Jeff probably has comments as well. I've done three tops. Jeff at least one recently.

Thanks guys. The shop that's doing the top is one of the best I've seen. They do really great work and are very familiar with Porsche tops. Have had them do some work in the past.

The top on my car had several holes from wear/use. The rear window was cloudy and had a burn mark on it... Just didn't belong on a freshly resprayed car.

Replaced the water pump and installed the new timing and Bal shaft belts today.
I prefer to use Gates belts all around but my new gates timing belt seemed to be to short, I used a Dayco belt, anyone here have any comments on this brand of timing belts. I'm kinda worried about this brand dayco. Thanks

Sparky, Cris Huergas and I have regular lunches together and tell tall tales. We are running out of tall and starting to duplicate. Why not join us? We are seeking other candidates like Jeff in Livermore and Ken from Oakland, maybe Clark in the hills. Heck, maybe even Pete will join us. Or, anybody reading this who doesn't require the tales to be necessarily true. Send PM. If I get you I'll start a thread.
