The Swap Meet does draw from all over the world, plus all those nice 968 guys and gals!
It wasn't just a miracle that a so called member joined from Hundary. It took some planning...
Oh well. It will remain as a very fond memory with all those friends from all over.

Craig, glad you can make it again this year!

Raj, any chance of Joska swinging by again with Tunda?

Breaking news; had Swap Meet Region meeting last night and the event is almost sold out.

Saw Rich T at the NYC Auto Show and he is planning to have his Yellow 968 Strosek Convertible parked in the Concours Area!

As mentioned, I will stop by the hotel Friday night but be tied up pretty much in the Concours area on Saturday morning.

Hope to see a lot of old and new friends at the Swap Meet.

Don

p.s. Never say never but it is unlikely that I will host a 968 Gathering or Celebration (Get To Gether, maybe) in Hershey in the future. After hosting 7 sanctioned PCA

Don, I have been to all gatherings expect the ones that were hosted or had strong ties to vendors. I don't want to participate in anything that would use the 968 gathering as a platform to push their website or products. This will obviously be the case this yr.
Hopefully, 968 gatherings in the future will be just that, a gathering of enthusiasts and not a shillfest.
Regards.

Promoting a no-pay web forum which caters to 968 enthusiasts at a 968 enthusiast gathering is considered a shillfest? Could of fooled me.

In any event, I can't wait untill this years gathering. Based on the chain of events that are going to take place, it sounds like it will be a blast. Last year was great, this year should be even better. I look forward to many more to come. They are a great place to network and meet friends as well as see some great Porsche's & hopefully pick up some cool rare stuff @ the swap meet.

It is going to be a great event Dino. I'm sorry I won't be there. Let's just hope for good weather.

Wow, Day 1 was awesome! What a success!
Pete, Max, Jay, Don, Darryl and Bob did a fantastic job hosting the meet and greet. Lots of wine and stories.
Great to see lots of old freinds and made lots of new ones.

Seems we have great new family starting for years to come.

I forgot my camera, but got these with my iphone before we left for dinner.
There's whole bunch of them in the parking lot now.

Yep! The new happy family does not discriminate!

We had a suprise guest show up....

Mr. Ray Starbird! What a gentleman.

It was great to meet so many new people this year and see so many old friends.
