A lot of people participate on both forums (now all 3 forums) including me. I don't think there is an us vs them. Its mostly a few individuals who do not like each other. .Net is a good middle ground where everone can participate and share/learn experiances and knowledge.

SH944 is not now, nor has ever, been banned on any 968 site that I'm aware of...sorry for the intrusion.

Especially poorly executed sarcasm.

It was supposed to have been a gross exaggeration of the inane arguing that pops up in 968 world, the latest just appeared to have been starting about the pics posted. As said before, poorly executed but it was nice to see you stand up for Patrick.
You actually had it sort of figured out and than it appears you were swayed by the posts that followed that the posting was real. Unfortunately Pat's post was real and I have apologized to him multiple times.

I was actually hoping for a little bit of live and let live but even betterit came out a united front against me and the post. Glad about that. Correct I hope to remain anonymous in my final appearance here.

No you didn't register this account, but you did see that the thread started disintegrating about page 4.

Raj and Damian were hardly the cause of all this. I don't recall either of them ever posting anonymously.

Regards,
No it is not a one sided argument but it would be nice to bury the hatchet in 968Owner and begin to move on for both sides.
It fell so flat I do not want to own up to it.
I am not a major poster in the 968 world but do lurk around it, so not Trevor, Raj, Damien, Pat, Dino, Flash, RSbarn, etc.

There's an opportunity being presented here to start fresh. Why not take it? Life is short and we're all gonna die soon enough.

Because skunks don't change their stripes, and some public personal attacks are so vile they can't be forgiven, hence I choose not to play with people with poor ethics and worse manners.

Trevor has uncommon common sense, as far as 968 owners goes, eh?

I'd rather build bridges than walls. I wouldn't expect to speak for anyone other than myself, but it is my hope that one day, all the aggrieved folks within the 968 community can find a way to at least peacefully co-exist and tolerate each other.

Screw being anonymous, it was me that started this S***Storm. Ban stick will hit me and that's OK, I deserve it.

As a matter of fact it did set me off.
The frigging stuff that goes on here has driven me batty for 8 years. When I see when you, Patrick, Dino or whoever get going again I want to throttle all of you.

I can be civil to people on a forum or in person whether I like them personally or not unfortunately others cannot. Too much bad **** in the world to let bad blood on a forum ruin my day. I've tried talking to people on both sides of this and while occasionally it quiets down for little while it always comes back. I am done with all the forums at this point in time.

Hopefully you all can work out your differences.

Trevor - thumbs up to you on your attitude and I'm taking your hatchet with me since I found it buried moments ago. I think I may need it for protection.

I did it poorly and once again I apologize to all of you for it.

Bye

Mark,

As has been said many many times, the 968 world is a small one and there is too much drama. Instead of staying away, stick around and help us make it a better place. We need all the help we can get. Whatever your intentions were, at least its got us talking and hopefully positive things come from it. Lets focus on the good instead of the bad, and just move on.

Anyne else got pictures from Hershey?

Regards,

This is even more twisted, because Mark and I pm'd about the thread-and on the thread (not in a PM) we disagreed about whether non owners should attend-and I was on smokies side!

And to be consistent, I commented on the Boxster sticking its nose into the 968 line a couple of years ago at a 968 Celebration.

Last year there was a 987 Boxster & a few 951's at the hotel (all parked with the 968's). No one complained about any of them.

Nobody complained here until 968owners post, but at another Hershey Celebration a Boxster was pulled from the tour line by the Red Baron. Kinda looked silly seeing a single other model car in the conga line.
